ODAWA NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE

Stories from my Community

Ottawa StoryTellers and the Odawa Native Friendship Centre cohosted storytellers from several First Nations communities. Louise Profeit-LeBlanc will be coming from the Nacho Nyak Dän First Nation (First Nation of the Big River People) in Mayo, Northeastern Yukon, Mary Gunner from the Cree community at Moose Factory, Ontario, Doreen Stevens from Kitiganzibi, Quebec, and Krystal Snowboay (TBA). Click here to see the recordings on OPL’s Youtube channel.

Stories at Ben Franklin Centre

Stories were recorded in the Chamber at Ottawa’s Ben Franklin Centre. Listen to our storytellers from across Canada! There were stories for all tastes and ages in both English and French as well as various crafts, and a super-fun life-sized Candy Land board game.

All of the sessions below can be found on OPL’s Youtube channel.
