Capital Information Kiosk

Stop by the Capital Information Kiosk to find a wide range of services and tools to help you discover Canada's Capital Region. Pick up self-guided tour brochures and other pamphlets.

We are located across the street from Parliament Hill (90 Wellington Street, Ottawa). Our information officers will be pleased to welcome you.

Along Confederation Boulevard, you will find a number of information and orientation tools, as well as interpretation panels on the Capital's major sites, viewpoints and lookouts.

Parking

  • The World Exchange Plaza, located at 45 O’Connor Street, is the nearest underground parking to the Capital Information Kiosk. The entrances are on Metcalfe and Queen streets.
  • Parking restrictions are strictly enforced at all times.

Free guided tours of Parliament Hill

Every day from July 2 to September 4

Discover the history of Canada, the buildings, the monuments and the various Canadian symbols on Parliament Hill. Tours last approximately 45 minutes, are offered in both French and English, and are fully accessible.

Wayfinding and discovery tools

Discover the heart of Canada's Capital Region by visiting Confederation Boulevard, the Capital's ceremonial route. You’ll find many interpretive tools along this route, including:

  • bronze models at key points of interest along Confederation Boulevard; and
  • maps of the region displayed on information columns.
